About Haliyo
A Personal Project. A Public Purpose.
Hi, I’m Billy Cross, the creator of Haliyo.
This app wasn’t built by a big tech company or a venture-funded startup. Haliyo is something I built because I needed it. Like so many others, I’ve wrestled with anxiety, overwhelm, and the quiet weight of mental health struggles. And in those moments, I always wished I had something – a calm presence, a thoughtful nudge, a way to get through the day without feeling judged or rushed.
So I decided to build it.

Why Haliyo Exists
I created Haliyo as the kind of companion I wish I had during my hardest times. Not just another planner or chatbot, but something human-like. Something emotionally intelligent. Something kind.
Haliyo helps you:
- Check in with your mood without pressure
- Plan your day in a way that feels manageable
- Talk to a supportive AI when you need a voice of reason
- Practice grounding techniques like breathing and reflection
More Than a Tool – A Companion
Haliyo is built on care, not metrics. It doesn’t chase engagement or try to keep you hooked. It’s there when you need it – and quiet when you don’t. It remembers what matters to you and offers a kind of daily rhythm that supports, not stresses.
Built By One, For Many
Every line of code, every button, and every message has been shaped by my own experience navigating anxiety and trying to find peace in a chaotic world. I built this for myself, and now I’m sharing it with you, because I know I’m not alone.
If Haliyo can help even one person feel a little less overwhelmed and a little more understood, that’s all I could ask for.
Thanks for being here,
Billy Cross
